The GhostXM team is looking for you! If you have a band or you are a solo artist and would like to submit your music just use the contact page and email us your EPK - or your Electronic Promo Kit. The EPK should consist of the tracks you would like to have in rotation, your bio and your album art. The album art can really consist of any picture you would like to represent your music. We don't sensor based on type of music, but do take a look at content to determine when to best play your music in the rotation. Of course we try to keep most mature material to our night time line-up, but this doesn't mean you won't be played during peak daytime hours. |

In support of their newly released album Alarm Bell City, Seattle’s answer to American Brit-rock, the Apple War, embark on a West Coast tour in August. Fresh off opening slots for the likes of Local H and local Seattle favorites the Turn-ons, the Apple War bring their newly released album on the road this August. The tour coincides with the official release of the music video for “Alarm Bell City,” directed by filmmaker Jesse Harris (Living Life). The video was the band’s prize for winning Virgin America’s “Land the Gig” competition in April, an event held at the Showbox in Seattle with musical guests Bamboo Shoots and Thurston Moore. The music video will be featured on all Virgin America flights starting in August. |

Monica Attell - The Anti Popstar |

Few artists could make a successful transition from earning a Masters in Flute Performance from the Boston Conservatory to performing with the Visions 2000 Gospel Choir to fronting the power pop punk band ZETA BANE. Monica Attell has done that, and her stature within the independent music scene is on the rise.
Attell was exposed to a wide variety of music from the start; her older brothers had different personalities and tastes in music, so Monica listened to everything from the Muppets to Yes and the Beatles to Barbra Streisand. As a result, she says she’s always found something to “hook her ear onto” with just about any kind of music. |

GhostXM is a streaming radio station designed specifically to champion the great independant musicians all over North America. GhostXM gives indie artists a voice in a medium that is growing staggeringly fast.
We appreciate the massive talent out there and wanted to build a showcase 'for the cause' so to speak. It's hard to imagine a time where musicians had to soley rely on taking a van thousands of miles from town to town in order to First and foremost, make sure people heard their music. The legwork that each band had to do, from impressing radio jocks and program directors to knocking on agents and music label doors is almost a thing of the past. Each band, no matter how new, has a chance to let people hear their music. Their heart and soul. GhostXM started because a few people got together and decided to create something that didn't have to rely on mainstream music to provide the source of entertainment. Indie bands get lost in the shuffle, and so does great music, which is always a shame.
