Page 1 of 2 Second Guess is a New Westminster, BC-based rock band that truly started in January 2002. Under the moniker Exit 104 the band recorded two albums, played shows at many of Vancouver's premier live music venues and had a tremendous amount of fun. During the summer of 2003 the band broke up musically, but remained a close-knit group of friends. The members took their time apart to experiment with music, life and growing up. Eventually they came to the conclusion that their journey together in music was not over. Their musical influences and styles were now on the same page, if not the same paragraph. Their goals were now clearly defined and there was more enthusiasm, optimism and energy between them than ever before. In September 2005 they got back together and reunited musically to do what they do best: write amazing music, produce enduring songs and work together towards a common goal. Their self-titled demo album from 2006 found success on the independent radio stations across Canada, even charting in the top 20 in Kelowna, BC. The songs displayed their musical talents, haunting melodies and songwriting abilities. It also won the hearts of fans, allowed the band to play at venues all over Vancouver and the Lower Mainland and landed the band a spot in the national library of music. The album was considered an all around success for the band, but with the addition of their new guitar player just a few months after the completion of the album, the band was eager to get back to writing new music.
