In support of their newly released album Alarm Bell City, Seattle’s answer to American Brit-rock, the Apple War, embark on a West Coast tour in August. Fresh off opening slots for the likes of Local H and local Seattle favorites the Turn-ons, the Apple War bring their newly released album on the road this August. The tour coincides with the official release of the music video for “Alarm Bell City,” directed by filmmaker Jesse Harris (Living Life). The video was the band’s prize for winning Virgin America’s “Land the Gig” competition in April, an event held at the Showbox in Seattle with musical guests Bamboo Shoots and Thurston Moore. The music video will be featured on all Virgin America flights starting in August.

Fellow Seattleites Hypatia Lake will join the Apple War for three nights in California. Other highlights of the tour include shows at Hollywood’s renowned Knitting Factory and the Silverlake Lounge.
